The Groomsmen

The number of groomsmen normally equals the bridesmaids.

Duties include;

Before the wedding....

• attending all pre wedding parties (except hens and kitchen tea)

• helping to organise the buck's night

• arriving at the wedding venue around an hour before the ceremony

At the ceremony...

• can act or assist the usher with seating people attending the ceremony

• standing next to the best man during the ceremony.

• escort the bridesmaids out after the ceremony

• ensure guests have directions to the reception venue

At the reception...

• sit at the bridal table alternately with the bridesmaids

• mingle and dance with guests
