If you would prefer money instead
of wedding gifts, consider including a card with one of the following
with you invitations.
Our home is quite complete now,
we've been together long,
So please consider our request and do not take us wrong,
A delicate request it is, we hope you understand,
Please play along as it will give our married life a hand.
The tradition of the wishing
well is one that's know by all,
Go to the well, toss in a coin and as the coin does fall,
Make a wish upon that coin and careful as you do,
'Cause as the well's tradition goes your wishes will come true.
So on this special day of ours,
the day that we'll be wed,
Don't hunt for special gifts but give money in it's stead,
And as you drop the envelope with money great or small,
Remember make your wish as you watch the money fall.
Two years together we've been
We have linen and crockery all types to be seen
Toasters by two we have quite a few
More gifts bought by you
You have no need to now do
Just favour us please with some money
We hope you don't find this request all to funny
Besides all the hassles the choosing will do
so paper and ribbon, you don't really need
Just into a card, we know it will please
Our love and our thanks come with this request
We hope you don't mind but we think it's the best.
Something to add?
